Subsequent to responding to a possible disabled vehicle on the I-88 westbound off ramp in Cobleskill, SP Cobleskill Troopers found driver Larry Sandgren sleeping in the driver seat inside the vehicle.  After responding to Troopers and being interviewed, Sandgren was found to have possession of over one eighth of an ounce of cocaine and drug paraphernalia on his person.  In addition, Sandgren was found to have possessed a suspended licensed with Department of Motor Vehicles in New York.  Sandgren was charged with one count of the Class C Felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree, Class A Misdemeanor Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree and the Unclassified Misdemeanor Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd degree. 
   
Sandgren was arraigned in the Town of Cobleskill court and remanded to Schoharie County Jail on $10,000/$30,000 cash or bail bond.  Sandgren was scheduled to reappear in court on June 25, 2019.
