PRESS RELEASE
The New York State Police out of Lockport conducted a seatbelt detail on Friday May 26, 2023 in the Town of Lockport as a part of 2023’s Click It Or Ticket initiative. Tyler Snyder, Age 23, of the Town of Lockport was arrested for Driving While Ability Impaired By Drugs. Snyder was observed driving without a seatbelt. During the stop he showed signs of intoxication by drugs. He failed standard field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. Snyder was taken transported to SP Lockport where he was processed for Driving While Ability Impaired By Drugs. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Lockport Court on 06/07/23 9:00AM. During the detail a total of 27 seatbelt infractions were observed.
