On August 10, 2020, State Police arrested 36-year-old Salvy J. Prisco of Clifton Park, for Assault 2nd degree -Intent to Cause Serious Physical Injury (D felony), Assault 2nd degree- Intent to Cause Injury to an Officer (D felony), Criminal Mischief 4th degree (A misdemeanor), Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd degree (A misdemeanor), and Resisting Arrest (A misdemeanor).

State Police responded to an active domestic dispute at a residence in Clifton Park shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Monday. When they arrived, Troopers observed a male and two females engaged in a physical altercation on the lawn of the residence, one of the females was suffering from visible injury. The male party, later identified as Prisco, approached the patrols aggressively, refusing to comply with commands. As patrols attempted to take Prisco into custody, he violently resisted causing a wrist injury to one of the Troopers. Prisco was eventually secured and transported to SP Clifton Park for processing. The female victim was transported to Ellis Hospital for evaluation.

Prisco was arraigned by a judge from Moreau Town Court and released to Saratoga County pre-trial services. He is due back in court on August 13, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.
