On December 28, 2019, State Police in Cobleskill arrested 32-year-old Christopher J. Lindemann of Cobleskill, for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing (A misdemeanor), Endangering the Welfare of a Child (A misdemeanor), and Harassment 2nd degree (violation).
At approximately 9:17 a.m. on Saturday, State Police responded to a residence in the Town of Jefferson for a dispute. Christopher Lindemann is accused of attacking the victim during an argument. During the altercation Lindemann struck the victim and grabbed them by their throat, restricting their breathing. The incident took place in front of child.
Lindemann was taken into custody by responding patrols and transported to SP Cobleskill for processing. He was arraigned in Jefferson Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court on January 6, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
