Cold Case Tuesday: State Police continue to investigate a 36-year-old homicide in Oneida County.
 
On January 15, 1983, at 9:30 AM, Hector Ambrosi was found deceased in a room at the Ramada Inn located on Burrstone Rd., in the town of New Hartford, Oneida County. The investigation revealed that Mr. Ambrosi was shot to death in the room and jewelry was taken from the victim. Mr. Ambrosi was involved in the used car business. The subject also had connections to Syracuse, NY, Albany, NY, and Florida areas. Ambrosi was 47 years old at the time of his death and was also known as Rock, Tore, or Etore.
