Harrison, NY – On July 12, 2020, at approximately 2:45 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the town of Harrison, for a vehicle and traffic violation.  The driver, Yuriy Svistelnytskyy, 32, or Stamford, CT, was found to be intoxicated and had a suspended license.  He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Tarrytown, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.21%. 


Svistelnytskyy was subsequently charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor and several Vehicle and Traffic Violations.  He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Harrison Court on September 1, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
