Elmsford, NY – On July 16, 2021, at approximately 11:15 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-287 in the village of Elmsford for a vehicle and traffic violation.  The driver of the vehicle, Wilfredo Perez, 43, of Stamford, CT, was found to be intoxicated.  He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Tarrytown where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19%. 

Perez was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.  He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Elmsford Court on August 11, 2021 at 9:30 a.m.
