Greenburgh, NY – On March 19, 2022, at approximately 9:00 p.m., State Police observed a vehicle parked on the left shoulder, and partially blocking the left lane, on I-287 in the town of Greenburgh.  After interviewing the driver, Chelsea Groglio, 31, of East Hartford, CT, she was found to be intoxicated.  Prior to being taken into custody, Groglio actively resisted arrest.  Troopers eventually arrested Groglio and transported her to SP Tarrytown where she refused to give a breath sample. 

Groglio was subsequently charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree; all Misdemeanors.

She was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Greenburgh Court on April 22, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
