Ellis of Corinth, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree (E felony), Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs (misdemeanor), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor), and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument (A misdemeanor).

Troopers responded to a report of an unconscious male behind the wheel of a vehicle on Rowland Street in Milton late Thursday evening. When they arrived, they located Ellis unconscious on the ground next too the driver’s side door of his car. He had been removed from the vehicle after a concerned citizen found his car stopped in the road and Ellis passed out behind the wheel. Once Ellis regained consciousness it was discovered that he had driven to the location and was under the influence of drugs.

During a probable cause search of Ellis, he was found to be in possession of a small quantity of suspected heroin and a hypodermic needle. Ellis was taken into custody and transported to SP Saratoga where he was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert.

He was transported to Saratoga County Jail where he was remanded on a parole warrant. He is due in Milton Town Court on February 16, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
