On October 14, 2021, SP Amity Troopers investigating a property damage motor vehicle crash on State Route 21 in the town of Almond determined that Michael Walsh was operating a motor vehicle at the time of the crash.  They noted that Walsh had the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath, along with slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. Walsh performed a battery of SFSTs, which all indicated that he was intoxicated.  He was arrested and transported to SP Amity where he registered a .16% BAC.  Walsh processed and released to a third party with appearance tickets for the town of Almond court, where he is to appear in November, 2021.
