PRESS RELEASE
 On September 11, 2021, at 3:45 p.m., State Police responded to the intersection of Plank Road and State Route 11 in the town of Ellenburg for a motor vehicle crash. An investigation at the scene revealed that a 2021 Ram pick-up operated by 41-year-old Patrick Borrette of Plattsburgh, was attempting to make a left turn onto State Route 11 from Plank Road when his vehicle subsequently struck a motorcycle operated by 66-year-old Craig Panton of Plattsburgh, who was making a left turn onto Plank Road from State Route 11. Panton was transported to the University of Vermont Health Network at the Champlain Valley Physician’s Hospital in Plattsburgh with abrasions on his feet and hips.
