PRESS RELEASE
 

On August 29, 2020, State Police arrested 20-year-old Tyler L. White of Crown Point, after he struck a man several times with a 24-inch breaker bar in Crown Point. The victim was transported to the University of Vermont Health Network at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital, Ticonderoga Campus where he was treated for multiple injuries to his head, face and torso.  White was charged with Assault 2nd degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, both class D felonies.  He was arraigned in the Crown Point Town Court and remanded to the Essex County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, or $10,000 bond. 

State Police were assisted by the Essex County Sheriff’s Office.
