PRESS RELEASE

On April 12, 2020, at approximately 1:50 a.m. State Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on State Route 9N in the town of Moriah.

An investigation at the scene revealed that 26-year-old Eric A. Ennenga of Crown Point was operating a 1995 Ford Ranger south on State Route 9N when he lost control of the vehicle, exited the roadway, over-turning several times before coming to a stop on the driver side of the truck. Ennenga, and a passenger in the vehicle, Carl F. Rice Jr., 19, of Port Henry, were transported to Moses Ludington Hospital in Ticonderoga for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Ennenga was placed under arrest for DWI. A blood sample was collected to determine his blood alcohol content and the results are pending.  Due to a previous conviction for DWI, Ennenga was charged with Felony DWI and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Moriah Court.
