Cuba man arrested for DWI at twice the limit after Belfast accident

On May 5, 2020, SP Amity Troopers arrested Marc P. Flaminio, 49, of Cuba, NY for Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree.

Troopers investigating a one-vehicle accident on Gleason Hill Road in the town of Belfast determined Flaminio had been operating a vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. Flaminio was then arrested and transported to SP Fillmore, where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a 0.16% BAC.

Flaminio was released with appearance tickets for Belfast Town Court, where he is due to appear in June.
