Cuba man arrested in connection with string of local thefts

On August 25, 2020, SP Amity Troopers arrested Derek W. Tyler-Lockwood, 30, of Cuba, NY for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th Degree, and Petit Larceny.

Troopers investigating thefts in the towns of Scio, Rushford, Wirt, and Clarksville determined Tyler-Lockwood was in possession of several stolen items in various locales.

Tyler-Lockwood was arrested and released with appearance tickets for Wirt, Clarksville, Olean, and Wheatfield Town Courts, where he is due to appear in September.
