Delevan man arrested for sex abuse

On February 2, 2023, SP Machias Troopers arrested David S. Perrington, 33, of Delevan, NY for Sex Abuse 1st Degree: Sexual Contact With A Person Less Than 11 Years Old, Forcible Touching, and Endangering the Welfare Of A Child.

Troopers and Bureau of Criminal Investigation members investigating a January 17, 2023 report determined Perrington to have committed the offenses above.

Perrington was arrested and arraigned in Franklinville Town Court, where he was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail or $100,000 bond. He is due to appear in Yorkshire Town Court later this month.
