Kinderhook, New York – On November 28, 2020, the New York State Police in Kinderhook arrested Bradley D. Briggs, age 30, of Kinderhook, NY, for Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Resisting Arrest, Obstruction of Governmental Administration, all class A misdemeanors, Driving While Intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor, and Criminal Trespass in the 3rd degree, a class B misdemeanor.

At approximately 9:00 p.m., Troopers responded to Parker Hall Road in the Niverville area of Kinderhook for a physical domestic incident.  The suspect, Bradley Briggs, had fled prior to the arrival of Troopers on an all-terrain vehicle, but was located on the CSX railroad tracks behind the residence.  Troopers patrolled to possible exit locations for the suspect and located him on the Concourse near Lake Road.  Briggs was ordered to stop by Troopers on foot, but continued to flee and subsequently struck a tree.  Briggs was taken into custody after a brief struggle.

Briggs was issued the appropriate appearance tickets returnable to the town of Kinderhook Court on January 5, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., and transported to Albany Medical Center for evaluation.
