On May 24, 2020, at approximately 8:35 p.m. State Police responded to a residence on Cassidy Road in the town of Chateaugay, for report of a domestic dispute.
Subsequent to an investigation, 22-year-old Ryan M. Poupore was arrested after it was determined he fired a rifle into the air twice during a dispute. This occurred in the presence of two children, ages 7 and 5. Poupore also verbally threatened to kill a subject at the residence.
Poupore was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree, Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree, Menacing 2nd degree, and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, all misdemeanors. He was arraigned in the Town of Burke Court where he was released on his own recognizance and is to reappear in the Town of Chateaugay Court at a later date.
