PRESS RELEASE
 
On May 31, 2020, at approximately 7:32 p.m. State Police responded to a residence on State Route 22 in the town of Peru for a report of a domestic dispute. An investigation revealed that 34-year-old Felicia K. Davis of Plattsburgh assaulted a 10-year-old of Schuyler Falls, resulting in the child sustaining a swollen left eye and pain in her right hip. This was also in violation of an active order of protection issued by the Clinton County Family Court. Davis was charged with Criminal Contempt 1st degree, Harassment 2nd degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She was arraigned by the City of Plattsburgh Court and released on her own recognizance to reappear in the Town of Peru Court at a later date.
