PRESS RELEASE

Domestic incident results in felony charges for Sinclairville woman.

On May 19, 2021, at approximately 04:30pm, Troopers out of SP Fredonia arrested Shaina E. Love, 30, of Sinclairville, NY for two class E felonies: Criminal Mischief 3rd and Criminal Contempt 1st stemming from a domestic incident.

Troopers responded to a 911 complaint of a domestic dispute in progress at the residence located in the village of Sinclairville.  An investigation revealed that during the verbal altercation with the victim, Love had thrown an object at the front kitchen window, causing it to shatter.  Further investigation revealed an active ‘refrain from’ Order of Protection was in place and the victim was the protected party.

Love was placed into custody at the residence and transported to SP Fredonia for processing.

Due to the active protection order and the total amount of damages to the window, Love was subsequently charged with two class E felonies: Criminal Mischief 3rd and Criminal Contempt 1st.

Love was transported for arraignment to Chautauqua County Jail and later released.
