PRESS RELEASE

On Tuesday morning September 24th, New York State Police observed a vehicle stopped on Interstate 86. The driver of the vehicle, Jonathan Baker, age 28 of Elmira, told State Police that the hood of the vehicle had released and struck the windshield. Neither the driver or the passenger had a driver’s license and the passenger was wanted on a warrant from the Town of Corning. Small jars of Methamphetamine were located in the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and both subjects were taken to the Horseheads station. Baker and the passenger, Idabelle Horton, age 22 of Addison, were arrested for Criminal Possession of a controlled substance and were issued tickets to appear at the Town of Horseheads court. Horton was also processed for the active warrant.
