PRESS RELEASE
 
On April 9th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Guy Vanderhoof, 39, of Pittsfield, PA, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.
 
Vanderhoof was pulled over on Route 474 in Clymer for a passenger seatbelt violation. Vanderhoof was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs, transported to SP Jamestown, and evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert who determined that Vanderhoof was under the influence of a Central Nervous System stimulant. Vanderhoof was transported to UPMC Hospital in Jamestown for a blood draw and then transported back to SP Jamestown. After processing, Vanderhoof was issued tickets and released, to appear in the town of Clymer Court next month. Vanderhoof’s passenger was issued a seatbelt ticket.
