On July 22nd, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Jackson Gattis, 20, of Manchester, VT, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.


Gattis was pulled over on I-86 in Kennedy for driving 100 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone. Gattis was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs and transported to SP Jamestown where he was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert who determined that Gattis was under the influence of a Central Nervous System stimulant. After a blood sample was secured from Gattis at UPMC Hospital in Jamestown, he was transported back to SP Jamestown for processing. Gattis was issued traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Kennedy Court next month.
