While on routine patrol in the Village of Painted Post, New York State Police made a DWI arrest on Monday October 14th. The driver of the vehicle, Jason Dewert, age 22 of Schenectady, had a strong odor of alcohol and was unable to complete roadside sobriety tests. Dewert was taken to the Paint Post station where his BAC was found to be .08%. Dewert was arrested for DWI and is to return to the Village of Painted Post court at a later date. Dewert’s vehicle was towed and he was released to a sober third party.
