New York State Police made an arrest for drunk driving in the Village of Watkins Glen on Monday October 14TH. State Police had observed a vehicle traveling on 4th street that made several traffic violations. The driver of the vehicle, Curtis Connelly, age 54 of Burdett, had a strong odor of alcohol and admitted to police that he had a few cocktails. Connelly’s vehicle was towed and he was taken to the Montour Falls station. Connelly provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be .11%.  Connelly was arrested for DWI and numerous traffic infractions and is to return to the Village of Watkins Glen court at a later date. Connelly was released to a sober third party.
