Eldred man arrested for DWAI-Drugs in Clarksville

On February 10, 2020, SP Amity Troopers arrested Christopher A. Barber, 31, of Eldred, PA for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.

While checking on what appeared to be a disabled vehicle on State Route 305 in the town of Clarksville, Troopers determined Barber had been operating a vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He refused to perform standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. Barber was then arrested and transported to SP Amity, where he refused to submit to both a chemical breath test and a Drug Recognition Expert evaluation.

Barber was issued appearance tickets for Clarksville Town Court, where he is due to appear later this month. He was turned over to the Cuba Police Department on an outstanding warrant.
