Endicott man charged after found in possession of stolen vehicle

On June 25, 2022, New York State Police at Endwell arrested Elijah K. Gibson, age 21 of Endicott, NY for the class “E” felony of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree.  A trooper was monitoring traffic on Main Street in the town of Union when he saw a vehicle speeding and made a traffic stop. 

The trooper’s investigation revealed that the vehicle has been reported stolen to the Binghamton City Police Department.  Gibson, who was driving the vehicle and two other occupants were interviewed.  Gibson was subsequently arrested and issued appearance tickets to the Union Town Court on July 12, 2022.
