PRESS RELEASE
 

On July 30, 2020, at approximately 6:35 p.m., State Police responded to an address on Middle Road in the town of Essex for a report of a domestic dispute. An investigation at the scene revealed that 21-year-old Jesse D. Hearn of Essex menaced and threatened the victim with a baseball bat.

Hearn was arrested and charged with Menacing 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree, both class A misdemeanors. He was arraigned in the Town of Essex Court and released on his own recognizance to reappear at a later date.
