Major James M. Hall
Troop A Commander

On August 5th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Christian Powell, 25, of Falconer, for Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree.
Approximately five days prior, the Troopers responded to a residence in Falconer for a report of a violation of an order of protection. While being interviewed by the responding Troopers, the victim received multiple calls from Powell, despite being the protected party in a stay-away order against Powell. As Powell was unable to be located, an arrest warrant was obtained through the town of Poland Court. On August 5th, Jamestown Police officers responded to Fulton and 8th Streets for a fight during which time, one of the participants was identified as Powell. The Troopers responded to the scene and placed Powell under arrest. Powell was then processed at SP Jamestown and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
