On February 24th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Christian Powell, 24, of Falconer, for Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree.
In January 2021, the Troopers responded to a residence in Falconer for a report of a violation of a court order. Investigation revealed that Powell had called the victim, who is the protected party in a stay-away order against Powell, and made threatening comments. Powell was unable to be located and an arrest warrant from the town of Poland Court. On February 24th, 2021, Powell was taken into custody by the Troopers at the Chautauqua County Jail, where Powell was being housed for an unrelated charge, and transported to SP Jamestown. Powell was then processed and returned to the Chautauqua County Jail.
