On July 27, 2021, State Police arrested 45-year-old Jason P. Whitehead and his son, 21-year-old Joshua P. Whitehead of Malone, following an investigation of gun shots and bullets hitting the residence at 13413 State Route 30 in the town of Malone. The incident occurred on June 1, 2021, at approximately 7:20 p.m. While the Whitehead’s were target shooting from the back yard of their residence on Warner Road, their rounds penetrated the wall of a residence down range. No injuries resulted. Jason and Joshua were both charged with one count each of Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree and Criminal Mischief 4th degree. They were released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Malone Court.
