PRESS RELEASE

On February 19th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Karen Webster, 51, of Jamestown, for Felony Driving While Intoxicated.

Webster was pulled over on Route 60 in Gerry for a traffic violation and after failing several SFSTs, Webster was placed under arrest. Webster was transported to SP Jamestown where she provided a breath sample of .08. A check of Webster’s driving record revealed a DWI conviction within the preceding 10 years, upgrading the charge to a felony. Webster’s driving record also revealed that her driving privileges in New York had been revoked for an alcohol related offense. Webster was then processed, issued tickets and released. Webster is scheduled to appear in the town of Gerry Court next month.
