PRESS RELEASE
 
On April 9th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested James Swain, 50, of Jamestown, for Felony Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree.
 
Swain was pulled over for committing a traffic violation on Route 60 in Jamestown and after failing several SFSTs, Swain was placed under arrest. Swain was transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .15. A check of Swain’s driving record revealed that he had been convicted of DWI within the preceding 10 years, and that his license had been suspended for an alcohol related offense. Swain was then processed, issued tickets and released. Swain is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court on a later date.
