Major James M. Hall
Troop A Commander

On August 17th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Ethan Fardink, 31, of Mayville, for Felony Driving While Intoxicated.
The Troopers responded to a residence in Ashville for a welfare check. Investigation revealed that Fardink was not present and had driven from the residence in an intoxicated condition toward the Village of Lakewood. Fardink was located at Walmart and placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs. Fardink was transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .14. As Fardink‚Äôs driving record revealed a DWI conviction within the preceding 10 years, the charge was upgraded to a felony. Fardink was then processed, issued tickets and released. Fardink is scheduled to appear in the village of Lakewood Court next month.
