On November 30, 2022, State Police in Watertown arrested Trudy A. Latimer, age 49, and Stephen T. Leeder, age 54 both from Felts Mills, NY for (1) count of Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “E’ felony.
Leeder was arraigned in the City of Watertown Court and remanded to jail on $500 cash bail and $1,000 bond. Latimer was arraigned in the City of Watertown Court and remanded to jail on no bail due to two previous felony convictions.
The arrest stemmed from a cyber tip that the Troop D Computer Crime Unit received regarding possible child pornography at the residence in September 2020. A search warrant was executed on the residence and electronic items were secured. An examination revealed items of child pornography were possessed by both Stephen Leeder and Trudy Latimer.
State Police were assisted in this investigation by Homeland Security Investigations.
