Fishkill, New York – On April, 26, 2020, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Devin Singleton, age 30, of Fishkill, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree, a class D felony, Assault in the 3rd degree, Menacing in the 2nd degree, and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, all class A misdemeanors.

At approximately 12:10 a.m., Troopers responded to the Holiday Inn Express in the village of Fishkill for a report of a man with a knife.  Investigation determined Devin Singleton engaged in an argument with the hotel employ at the front desk that became physical.  Singleton is alleged to have threatened the hotel employee with a knife.  The victim suffered a minor cut, and a bite wound from Singleton.  Further investigation found Singleton left his two young children unattended during the altercation.

Singleton was arraigned before the town of Wappinger Justice, the Honorable Judge Kitchen, and was released on his own recognizance.  Singleton is next scheduled to appear before the village of Fishkill Court on June 29, 2020, at 9:30 a.m.
