On December 21, 2019, State Police in Brunswick, arrested 28-year-old Nicholas A. Redcross-Chaput of Largo, FL., for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (misdemeanor).
Shortly before midnight on Saturday, State Police interviewed Redcross-Chaput as he drove through a sobriety checkpoint being conducted in the City of Troy. The Trooper speaking with Redcross-Chaput could smell a strong odor of alcohol. He asked Redcross-Chaput to exit his vehicle to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which he subsequently failed.
Redcross-Chaput was taken into custody and transported to SP Brunswick, where he provided a breath sample of .23% B.A.C. He was issued an appearance ticket for Brunswick Town Court on January 8, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
