Friendship man arrested on burglary, drug charges

On December 20, 2020, SP Amity Troopers arrested Zeb K. Davis, 34, of Friendship, NY for Burglary 3rd Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Auto Stripping 3rd Degree, and three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

Troopers investigating the theft of tools and attempted theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle at a residence on Linwood Avenue in the town of Friendship determined Davis had stolen the items. Troopers arrested Davis and transported him to SP Amity for processing. During the course of the arrest, Davis was found to be in possession of Gabapentin without a valid prescription, Hydrocodone without a valid prescription, heroin, and methamphetamine.

Davis was arraigned in Allegany County Court, where he was remanded to Allegany County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail or $4,000 bond. He is due to appear in Friendship Town Court and Amity Town Court, both in January.
