On February 15, 2020, State Police in Fonda arrested 28-year-old Cody E. Feldman of Fultonville, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated- Previous Conviction and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree, both class E felonies.

State Police located Feldman in parking lot on State Route 5s in the Town of Florida after another driver witnessed him leave the scene of a motor vehicle accident. Feldman had been traveling east on State Route 5s when he left the roadway striking a metal fence. His vehicle sustained heavy damage, but he was still able to drive from the scene.

When troopers located Feldman, he appeared to be asleep at the wheel. Once the troopers were able to wake him, they observed several indicators that he was intoxicated. Feldman was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which he failed, and was placed in custody.

Feldman was transported to SP Fonda where he provided a breath sample of .20% B.A.C. He was issued an appearance ticket for Florida Town Court on April 6, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
