On November 26th, 2019, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Mary Butler, 61, of Gerry, for Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. 

The Troopers responded to a residence in Steamburg for a report of Criminal Mischief.  Investigation revealed that Butler arrived at the residence unnanounced and threw pieces of wood and a chair at the front door when the complainant refused to acknowledge her.  The items caused damage to the exterior of the door and doorframe.  Butler was arrested at her residence, processed at SP Jamestown and arraigned in the town of Cold Spring Court.  Butler was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to reappear in the town of Cold Spring Court on a later date.
