On October 20, 2019, State Police in Queensbury arrested 48-year-old Darrick T. Driver of Glens Falls for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a misdemeanor.


At approximately 5:21 p.m. State Police responded to a residence in the town of Queensbury after it was reported that Driver had an altercation with an associate of his, and took their car.


The victim contacted Driver and instructed him to return their vehicle, Driver was observed by Troopers operating the car as he brought it back. When a patrol spoke with Driver, they could smell the odor of an alcohol beverage and observed indicators that he was intoxicated. 

Driver was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which he failed, and was taken into custody. He was transported to SP Queensbury where he provided a breath sample of .31% B.A.C.


Driver was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Queensbury Town Court on October 28, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
