On August 18, 2020, State Police in Greenwich arrested 26-year-old Dominic M. Lafountain of Glens Falls, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree, a Class C felony, and the class A misdemeanors of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (four counts), Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree (two counts), and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument.

Lafountain was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic stop by State Police shortly before 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday. While speaking to the occupants of the vehicle, the Trooper discovered that Lafountain was wanted on a warrant for drug possession by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. Lafountain was taken into custody and during a search, he was found to be in possession of approximately 2.3 grams of methamphetamine, a quantity of heroin and Suboxone, as well as drug paraphernalia.

Lafountain was taken into custody and transported to SP Greenwich for processing. He was then taken to Washington County Jail to await arraignment.
