On September 29, 2021, the New York State Police in Princetown arrested 40-year-old Jason L. Pigliavento of Glenville for Identity Theft 2nd degree (E felony) and two counts of Tampering with Physical Evidence (E felony).

Pigliavento is accused of attempting to discard two credit cards while in State Police custody during his arrest on June 10th of this year. Investigation determined that the credit cards were taken out in the name of same victim that he was accused of stealing $60,000 from. He is also accused of setting up a Paypal account in the victim’s name and using it to send himself money.

Pigliavento was processed at SP Princetown and transported to Schenectady County Jail to await arraignment.
