PRESS RELEASE

On October 10th, 2021, New York State Troopers arrested Mitchell Gregory, 20, of Great Valley, for Criminal Impersonation 2nd Degree.

A vehicle in which Gregory was a passenger was pulled over on Route 242 in Ellicottville for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, Gregory, a passenger, became disruptive and while attempting to identify Gregory, he provided the Troopers with a driver license, later determined to belong to a subject that wasn’t in the vehicle. Subsequent investigation revealed Gregory’s actual identity at which point he was placed under arrest, transported to SP Fredonia and processed. Gregory was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicottville Court later in the month.
