Gun arrest in Wappinger

Wappinger, New York – On December 10, 2022, the New York State Police arrested Stephen J. Bauch, age 31, of Green Sea, SC, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2^nd degree, a class C felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3^rd degree, a class D felony, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, a class E felony, and Ronald L. Marlowe, age 41, of Loris, SC, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4^th degree, a class A misdemeanor.

At approximately 9:45 p.m., Troopers initiated a traffic stop of a 2011 Ford F150 on Myers Corners Road in the town of Wappinger for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation determined Stephen Bauch was in illegal possession of a SCCY Firearms 9MM handgun, and Ronald Marlow in possession of metal knuckles.

Marlow was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Wappinger Court on December 27, 2022, at 5:30 p.m.  Bauch was arraigned before village of Wappingers Falls and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $75,000 bond.
