On May 23, 2020, State Police in Clifton Park arrested 34-year-old Lana C. Dugan of Halfmoon, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree (E felony), Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs (misdemeanor), two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor), and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument (A misdemeanor).

Troopers were called to the parking lot of Cumberland Farms in Clifton Park early Saturday morning, for an unresponsive female sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. Upon waking the woman, later identified as Dugan, the Trooper asked her out of the vehicle. Dugan appeared disoriented and had impaired coordination. She was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which she failed and was taken into custody. Dugan was also found to be in possession of multiple hypodermic needles containing heroin residue and several glass tubes containing cocaine residue.

Dugan was transported to SP Clifton Park for processing, and refused to provide a breath or blood sample. She was issued an appearance ticket for Clifton Park Town Court answerable on July 2, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
