Hamburg man arrested for DWI in Yorkshire

On August 2, 2019, SP Machias Troopers arrested Kai D. Hansgen, 23, of Hamburg, NY for Driving While Intoxicated.

During a traffic stop on Weaver Road in the town of Yorkshire, Hansgen was exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication. Troopers determined he had been operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. Hansgen was then arrested and transported to SP Machias, where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a 0.09% BAC.

Hansgen was released with appearance tickets for Yorkshire Town Court, where he is due to appear at a later date.
