PRESS RELEASE
 

On August 28, 2020, the New York State arrested Steven Harrington, age 50, of Hilton, NY for the class E- Felony of Unlawful Surveillance 2nd.  The arrests stems from an incident on August 24, 2020, at the Hamlin Beach State Park campgrounds.  At that time a woman reported to the New York State Park Police that she saw a man with a cellphone recording her while she was showering at the campground.  The man was located within the park by the New York State Park Police.  Harrington was interviewed by the New York State Police and the phone he used was secured.  He was charged and issued a appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Hamlin Court.
