On November 22, 2022, Troopers arrested Elishia E. Lazore-King, 32 of Hogansburg, NY for Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle 3rd, unlawful fleeing of an officer 3rd, obstruction of governmental administration 2nd, grand larceny 3rd and multiple vehicle and traffic law tickets.
On March 7, 2022, around 7:51 p.m. a Trooper conducted at traffic stop on a 2011 Honda Accord on County Route 1 in the town of Fort Covington. The driver was identified as Lazore-King. While the Trooper was conducting a DMV check of Lazore-King’s Driver license, she fled the scene, operating the vehicle. A vehicle pursuit was initiated but was later terminated by the Trooper due to Lazore-King entering Syne, Quebec. An investigation determined law enforcement could not locate Lazore-King and she did not have permission to use the vehicle and she failed to return it.
On March 13, 2022, Town of Bombay Court issued an arrest warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle 3rd, PL 270.25 Unlawful Fleeing of an Officer 3rd and PL 195.05 Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd against Lazore-King.
On March 14, 2022, Lazore-King was in a pursuit with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police in the same vehicle. The pursuit was terminated when she entered Syne, Quebec.
On March 17, 2022, additional charges of Grand Larceny 3rd were brought to Town of Bombay Court where the judge issued another arrest warrant for Lazore-King.
On March 26, 2022, the Honda Accord was located by the Akwesasne Mohawk Police in Syne, Quebec and later returned to the owner. Lazore-King was still not located. On August 28, 2022, Lazore-King was arrested by United States Border Patrol and turned over to the Saint Regis Mohawk Police.
Lazore-King was arraigned in the Town of Bombay Court on the SP Malone arrest warrant charges. ELISHIA was released on her own recognizance regarding the Arrest Warrant charges but incarcerated in Clinton County Jail on Federal charge, pending a different incident.
