On February 24, 2020, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) arrested Bridgid M. Buseman, 29 of Tonawanda, NY for Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st degree (C Felony), Grand Larceny 4th degree (E Felony), Identity Theft 2nd degree (E Felony) and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree (E Felony).

 

On October 16, 2019 the BCI out of SP Niagara received a case of identity theft in the town of Lewiston.  Further investigation revealed that Buseman is a home care aid for the elderly for Help At Your Home Agency in Williamsville, NY and home care aid on Care.com.  Buseman was taking money and forging checks belonging to the clients.  The NYSP BCI worked with Buffalo and Amherst Police Departments who also have possible criminal cases on Buseman.  Buseman was arrested and processed at SP Lockport.

Buseman was taken to Niagara County Jail awaiting arraignment by Centralized Arraignment.
